Rodger Miller

Rodger Miller, Principal has over 28 years of land planning and land development experience in the Greater Toronto Area.

After graduating from Ryerson University with a Bachelor of Applied Arts (Hons) in Urban and Regional Planning he began his career joining the development team at Runnymede Development Corporation. Later he was solely responsible for managing the land planning development approvals for the firm and occupied this senior position for 15 years before moving on to Mattamy Homes.

At Mattamy Homes, as a Vice President in the GTA Land group Rodger was responsible for completing urban expansions in Whitby; Community and Subdivision approvals in Pickering and Aurora and was the lead person in managing the companies’ interests in Seaton (which included multi-jurisdictional planning issues, servicing issues and fiscal impact issues between the City, the Region of Durham, the Province and the Landowners Group).

During his tenure with these firms, Rodger also participated in many landowner groups where his responsibilities included participation in issues of community design, community servicing, municipal finance, cost sharing, proforma analysis, and planning and servicing approvals with other landowners and municipal partners.

In 2013 he started his consulting career working for many land and building interests in the Greater Toronto Area.

During the course of his career Rodger has been involved in countless applications dealing with Official Plan Amendments, Re-zonings, Subdivision and Site Plan Approvals involving residential, employment, and commercial lands. He has been directly involved in the registration of over 7500 residential units in the GTA and has appeared before the Ontario Municipal Board as an expert planning witness.

Rodger is a professional who understands the complexities of land planning and development and is an action oriented, success driven individual.

He is also a member of the Ontario Professional Planners Institute (OPPI), Building Industry and Land Development Association (BILD), and the Urban Land Institute (ULI). .
